Wichita Falls Waterfall
Built in 1986 to replace the falls which washed away in a flood more than
100 years ago, the present 54-foot man-made waterfall is a multi-level
cascade on the south bank of the Wichita River. Enjoy the trails,
playground, pool and pavilions at connecting Lucy Park.

The Wichita Falls Railroad Museum
The site of the former Union Station features equipment from local
area Texas Railroads. Fourteen units of large rolling stock plus
eight small units, such as motor cars. This display features
several pieces from the Missouri-Kansas-Texas (Katy) Railroad.

Wee-chi-tah Sculpture
After a dozen years of hard work and dedication, a legend has been
commemorated with a multi-part statue standing on the banks of the
"waist deep" Wichita River. Located near the Front
Street Bridge in the 500 block of Wichita Street, Sculptor Jack
Stevens' creation is a life-sized replica of a Comanche woman and
her companions as she tested the river's depth...and gave a river
and city its name..."wee-chi-tah".

Wichita Falls Memorial Auditorium
One of the finest auditoriums in North Texas, the Wichita Falls
Memorial Auditorium is the home of the Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre
and the Symphony Orchestra. This 2,717 seat auditorium hosts nearly
80 events each year. Special productions include concerts featuring
top stars such as Ronnie Milsap and George Strait, and
Broadway-style shows.

The Kell House
Built in 1909 by Frank Kell, one of the city's founders, this home
is now a Texas Historic Landmark. The house, including original
family furnishings, is maintained by the Wichita Falls County
Heritage Society. Hours are: Tues thru Fri - 10-3 P.M.; Sat

Plex - Family Entertainment Center

River Speedway
This facility is devoted completely to the family.
The track is state of the art high banked asphalt racing surface for very
fast, clean, exciting racing. The track is 1/4 mile around on the inside
stripe. The cars will achieve speeds up to 90 mph on the (featuring men and women drivers
age 14 and up.) Races are held every Friday at 8 p.m., April - August.
Located three miles west of Wichita Falls on U.S. Route 287, then west on
